About me

John John Valle was born in London in 1977. After obtaining a Master's degree in Social Anthropology at the University College of London, he moved to NYC were he studied documentary filmmaking at NYU.

Throughout his professional life he has directed, filmed and edited a number of documentaries, TV shows, and ad campaigns. His work has been broadcasted in main Brazilian and international TV channels. Clients include Coca Cola, Nike, Yahoo, Adidas, Instagram, Starbucks and Google Android and media such as Brazil's prestigious Piauí magazine, among many others. John John also has an extensive portfolio as an editor and director of fashion films.

His breakthrough was his nomination for best documentary at Rio's International Film Festival in 2010 for his feature film Alternative Sentences towards Prison.

Most recently, he directed A Lonely Man's Fight about Brazilian Olympic taekwondo athlete Diogo Silva, commissioned by ESPN Brazil, alongside the renown producer Zé Henrique Fonseca.
