Dear Sir/MadamPlease find my CV attached in respect of the advertised Artworker position. I would like to be considered for this role as I feel that I have all the relevant skills and experience for this position, having worked within a team in many different environments from in-house studio to commercial and stationery printers. I have used Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional plus all Microsoft Office packages while working within a DTP studio for a city bank and in all my previous jobs I have had to adhere to very strict guidelines while keeping to tight deadlines.I have 30 years experience in print starting my career as a machine minder at an Insurance Company in-house print unit and also gaining knowledge of planner plate making. After fourteen years I moved on to work for an Investment Bank print department extending my knowledge of using presses, high volume printers and Apple Macs. My next position was at a magazine printers and then on to my last job where I stayed for twelve years having built up a thriving artwork studio from scratch but due to cost cutting and the present climate I was recently made redundant.I believe that I can offer a great deal of experience and knowledge to any future employer, I am a hard working, conscientious and reliable person who would love to find employment with a company that appreciates these attributes.
