About me

My experience has enabled me to develop as a multi-disciplined designer as well as gain relevant experience within the fashion and beauty industry. I have been deeply involved in management, developing a diverse range of design disciplines, branding production for print and related media and a deep understanding of corporate identity.

I thrive in a fast-paced environment where production deadlines are a priority, and handling multiple jobs simultaneously is the norm. Constant negotiations and the ability to communicate to all levels of management, staff, suppliers, clients and dealing with printers and photographers etc; have allowed me to fully strengthen my interpersonal skills and gain excellent customer service skills.

I am constantly striving in developing my skills personally, technically, and professionally to make further impressions throughout my career. I am technically proficient in Adobe CS4, Microsoft Office, Quarkxpress, CorelDraw and CorelXara, working comfortably on both PC and Mac as well as having a thorough understanding of the design and print process, file management and compatibility, outputting for print, design for web and reprographics.

I have a strong ‘can do' attitude that is applied to everything and I thrive on new challenges and solve problems logically and creatively. Comfortable with handling multiple jobs, I have developed the skills to manage workloads to deliver the right results effectively and on time. Experience in creating from start to finish and am knowledgeable with creating print ready artwork and all design and print processes to be able to produce high standards of work to budget and to get results under pressure is something that I have become accustomed to.
My career has covered a wide range of practices from corporate in-house design to creative design studio which has given me a unique insight and understanding in the creative industry with an almost obsessive attention to detail. With such a broad creative experience I can apply my design skills to any medium, whether it be leaflet design, magazine/brochure design, exhibitions, design for web, presentations, signage, POS, animation or large format design.
