I am writing to apply for the position of Graphic Designer you currently advertise.

I am applying for this position because I am a creative and imaginative individual, with a desire to showcase my abilities to industry level. I have also been a keen Liverpool Football Club supporter for the past 23 years and if given this opportunity would strive to succeed in order to develop new graphic ideas and products to support the business.

Through college and university I have obtained a range of skills and knowledge relevant to the post from studying Graphic and Product Design, and Computer and Multimedia Studies.

I have a good working knowledge of a variety of software and have a portfolio available to evidence this.

In addition to this, the examples of work I have undertaken in graphic design include designing and making leaflets, posters, brochures and magazines, and CD and DVD cases, all to an expert standard.

Moreover, in my spare time I constantly work towards developing my current skills and portfolio through the use and range of software including Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint.

I have a range of transferable skills which make me perfect for this role, as well as being highly creative and if given the opportunity I would strive to meet the needs of the company and produce quality work to requirement.
