About me

I have been utilising my design skills for many years, and I am keen to develop them further. My undergraduate degree covered many mediums such as photography, fashion, product and spatial design. As a result of my studies, I gained industry experience working as a display designer, buyer, art director and trade exhibitor.

Further more I have worked as an Art Director for several short films, which involved creating mood boards, sourcing props, buying to budget, making or modifying props/sets to specifications and layout on set to create the mood of the narrative while maintaining an aesthetic ambience that would present well on camera.

I also spent a short time as a bathroom and kitchen designer, where my responsibilities included layout design, concept realisation, problem-solving and styling. As designer, I handled each account in face-to-face discussions with the client, company reps and tradesmen.

My interest in interior design prompted me to develop my software skills to further enhance the presentation of my ideas, and as such I enrolled for a master course in Design and Digital Media. Since completion, I have a thorough knowledge of QuarkXPress, Photoshop (and most of the Adobe suite), Final Cut Pro, Dreamweaver and Flash. I also have basic working knowledge of Director, HTML and Maya, all of which I am keen to
