About me

I am currently volunteering at the National Aids Trust, providing assistance for a charity I feel very strongly about. I am very interested in charity communications and feel that now is the appropriate time to explore this area of work. I am looking to forge a career within the communications sector and feel that my charity work is providing me with the skills and experience required for an appropriate position. As you will see from my enclosed CV I was previously working in fashion PR, whereby I looked after clients such as PUMA and Calvin Klein. This involved writing creative press releases, maintaining clients accounts and ensuring targets were achieved. This busy press office experience gave me an insight into communications work, developing my desire to work in public relations. I graduated with a Fine Art degree where I played a key role in installing numerous art exhibitions and achieved a 2:1 after working and studying abroad for a year to gain a diploma. I have had experience working at Esquire Magazine and other publications and I was proud to have my work published. I am an excellent communicator and team player and I enjoy working in a fast moving, stimulating and creative environment yet also enjoy the challenge of individual projects. I am a positive, motivated and enthusiastic person and I rise to any challenge in both my working and personal life. I now wish to develop a career in public relations, and am therefore looking for a new and suitably challenging position to enable me to do so.I believe that my key qualities are my excellent interpersonal skills and strong communicative ability, combined with my creative ability and talent. I see myself as a highly dedicated and strongly driven individual.
