About me

A graduate in journalism, pursuing a career in television documentaries.

-Recently finished working for BBC Factual Department on BBC1's 'Rogue Restaurants' as a researcher and on-screen undercover reporter.

-Role included research and reconnaissance of food establishments. Contacting councils for background health and hygiene reports. Use of covert cameras including a bag cam, shirt cam and bottle cam. Working and filming undercover in two food chains.

-Employed by BBC Current Affairs as a researcher on BBC3's 'Natalie Cassidy's Diet Secrets', 1 x 60' documentary.

-Role included research into celebrity diets, interviewing potential contributors, and securing filming locations. Liaised with the producer, assistant producers, presenter and interviewees, and assisted on filming days.

-Researcher/runner at Mentorn Media on a BBC current affairs documentary. In addition to research, I helped set up reconstructions, purchased props and assisted on set.

-I have experience in producing and editing radio packages and presenting a radio show.

-Worked on a voluntary basis for a number of newspapers including The Daily Echo in Bournemouth. I was music reporter for The Need Magazine, which is circulated across the southern music scene.
