Our in-house video department helps produce interesting and compelling content for events and conferences across the world, including insightful interviews with top minds in every industry, promotional videos, event highlights, product demonstrations & keynote presentations. The studio also creates branding, graphics, produces online courses & podcasts.
As a Video Producer, you’ll need to be passionate about making incredible video content that keeps people coming back for more. We need an all-rounder with excellent camera and video editing experience to help create, manage and deliver all video assets for Informa Connect.
Predominantly, you’ll be involved in filming regularly at our events across the world in exotic locations like Miami and Cannes – so if you are passionate about coming on board into a super innovative team with the opportunity to travel regularly to Europe, the US and Asia - then apply!
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong background in video processes from pre-production planning, production & post-production
- Be well versed in producing content, camera work and editing, both in-studio & on location
- Have extensive experience with lights and sound equipment
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in some kind of video creation capacity
- At least 2 year’s camera experience (we work with Sony FX6, FX3, FS7, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema
- At least 2 year’s experience using the Adobe Editing Suite (Premiere Pro/After Effects/Photoshop/) or FCPX/similar
- Have experience planning content, shooting interviews and presentations in studio as well as at conferences and events across the world
- Be able to manage all the above by yourself (we do not employ lighting/sound technicians – our producers do it all)
- Be passionate about shooting and editing great video content under tight deadlines quickly
- Have the ability to take any topic and bring out the most interesting aspects
- Have a wide range of production skills, from storyboarding, shooting to editing
- Be willing & able to travel overseas as often as 3 times a month, filming and editing of highlights/interviews/sessions at virtual and hybrid events across the world
- Have experience video editing high quality content (Premiere Pro, FCP X)
- Bonus: after effects experience + experience creating content for conferences/events
- Mature temperament capable of dealing well with clients and team members in a calm and friendly manner
- Flexible hours and ability to travel overseas extensively
Advantageous:
- If you already have experience making video content for events/conferences this would be a huge advantage
- Experience with AI/ML software including LLMs, generative media tools etc.

- You are within commuting distance to our office near Waterloo station in London. You are not expected to perform an “in-office” role at all times but you will need to be within roughly an hour of the office in order to collect equipment and reliably attend shoots in the city
- You are a very organised person and friendly/approachable with a flair for making content that is interesting and compelling. Our events/conferences often showcase the bleeding-edge of “what’s out there” in a particular field/industry and we want someone excited to make content in this area
- You have a good understanding of what equipment will be required for any particular project/shoot
