Video Content Designer (Digital: BT Business)
Job
As a BT Business Video Content Designer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of video production – from conception to delivery. This includes idea generation, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and post-production.
You’ll also be expected to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You'll have the following accountabilities:
- Managing video projects from conception to completion
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of video production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production as well as handling any disruptions to projects
- Scripting and storyboarding video content
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Presenting ideas to stakeholders and maintain relationships with them
- Directing and overseeing video shoots, ensuring that all elements align with the project vision
- Editing, grading and sounding edit complete videos
- Creating simple animations when needed
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand video needs and requirements and presenting them with ideas for videos
- Ensuring that all video content adheres to brand guidelines and messaging
You'll have the following skills & experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as part of a production team
- A degree in film, media, management, production, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Strong negotiation, planning, and budgeting skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
- Good knowledge of videography techniques, equipment, lighting, and sound
- High attention to detail
- Passionate, professional, and creative
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Understanding of web design principles and user experience concepts
- Experience with photography and search engine optimization (SEO)
