We’re looking for a motivated UX Designer III to help us envision and deliver delightful customer experiences. We work on a global scale for multiple brands, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment.

The Shopping team explores how our travellers find the perfect elements of their trip to book - whether it’s lodging, a flight, a car, or a cruise. For us, Shopping is all about learning about the traveller and providing them with a personalised experience that reflects their needs and inspires their travel. The team is comprised of Experience Designers with a multitude of backgrounds and experience that bring unique perspectives to how we solve problems.

What you’ll do:

Problem Definition and Product Strategy:

You will build a solid toolkit of methods for facilitating the gathering and synthesising of diverse insights in ambiguous problem spaces.

You will influence strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements.

Ideation and Visualisation:

You will explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, and evaluate concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest.

You will confidently facilitate idea generation with stakeholders.

You will demonstrate mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practice, and create appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with minimal guidance.

Systems Thinking:

You will bring together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to identify opportunities to align goals and increase efficiency across organisational boundaries.

You will actively contribute to design system growth based on use cases.

You will make decisions that clarify relationships between patterns and support future flexibility.

Communication and Presentation:

You will consistently create clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and stakeholders using customer, business, or competitive insights.

You will actively seek diverse feedback on design work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively.

You will tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.

Customer Centricity:

You will apply and adapt design and research processes to fit needs of project.

You will develop empathy and insights about customers based on data and insights from research and other customer data sources.

You will clearly communicate customer-centric goals when presenting work.

Who you are:

Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Visual Design or related Design field.

Strong skills in Interaction/Visual Design and Prototyping. Capable in Facilitation, Information Architecture, and Technical/Platform knowledge.

Native app design experience is required. Design system experience is ideal.
