We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at THG Experience.
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our comprehensive social media strategy initially for King Street Townhouse Hotel and Hale Country Club & Spa - some of our properties within the THG Experience portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand objectives and target audience with the aim of increasing brand awareness and community engagement.
- Content Creation: Work independently and alongside our in-house photographer and graphic design team to create captivating, social-first content including stills, short-form video and multimedia content to utilise across all social touchpoints.
- Content Management: Manage projects and teams to create engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand identity.
- Social First Campaigns: Work alongside the wider team to deliver engaging, informative and educational social-first campaigns that showcase each of our brand's personality, setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing ROI.
- Event Coverage: Attending property-hosted events alongside the PR team to capture social content and, where required, accompanying influencers, ensuring full coverage of the event to maximise impact and awareness.
- Paid Social: Working alongside Head of Digital Marketing to build paid social campaigns, monitor, review and optimise accordingly.
- Analysis and Optimization: Analysing the long-term needs of the THG Experience social media strategy, offering quarterly reports, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan and any emerging social media trends.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
- Innovation and Disruption: Implement disruptive and cutting-edge approaches to stand out in the crowded social media landscape, positioning the THG Experience portfolio as leading properties in their sector.
- Audience Engagement: Ensure that our properties remain front of mind, aspirational and engaging to our core audience through social media while actively seeking new opportunities to reach potential new customers.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts to increase engagement and foster a strong community delivering excellence and retaining loyalty.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Brand and Head of Digital Marketing to optimize ideas and maintain our status as an innovative brand, committed to excellence and dedicated to providing truly luxurious and unique experiences across various social media channels.
- Influencer Collaboration: Work with the Head of Brand and Head of PR to build an influencer strategy and deliver relevant and socially native activation plans that support the brand channels.
- Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to seamlessly integrate social media efforts into broader campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Experience in content creation and editing content is a must
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud for content creation
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and emerging technologies
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and disruption in social media marketing
- Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with influencer marketing is a plus
- Skilled in using a camera and understanding lighting is a plus
