The UK launch of Dr Jart+ in 2021 broke the internet and gained the loyal following that has kept growing ever since, with consumers loving high performing Korean skincare paired with a joyful way it’s always brought to life.

Today we’re looking for a new Assistant Consumer Engagement Manager, who is up for a challenge to help us take Dr Jart+ to new heights. The role is centred around supporting with the creation of strategies, planning, and executing product campaigns across Owned, Earned and Paid media, with a strong focus on owned social channel management, asset creation and the influencer landscape.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

  • The Assistant Consumer Engagement Manager will be an integral member of the small but mighty 
    Dr.Jart+ team, working closely with online, sales and product marketing. The successful candidate 
    will have a passion for social media and content marketing and an extended knowledge of the social 
    media landscape with their fingers on the pulse of key trends and cultural moments within the UK –
    including content formats, social listening and reporting tools, planning and implementation of social 
    first campaigns and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting key platforms.
  • This role will lead and execute innovative social strategies that embrace consumer insights, data and 
    creativity. Primarily responsible for the development and implementation of the Dr.Jart+ Owned media 
    strategy, this role will have scope to drive innovation in paid media activities, as well as driving cutthrough creative that is leveraged across the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Owned media strategy:

  • Lead, develop and execute social strategy for local Dr.Jart+ Instagram and TikTok channels,
    delivering innovative content plans underpinned by consumer mindsets and emerging trends.
  • Maximise owned channels to increase the brand’s digital presence, driving consumer acquisition 
    and to deepen brand engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop organic calendar that speaks to priorities and focuses dictated by the wider marketing 
    strategy, but also capitalises on consumer trends and insights and high traffic moments.
  • Collaborate with brand departments and local stakeholders to align calendar, promotional 
    moments and content strategies in order to execute 360 campaigns.
  • Identify and utilise consumer data insights and online behaviour to make informed 
    communications choices and formulate strategies.
  • Oversee reporting and metrics to support growth in following, engagement and earned media 
    value.

Paid media management & execution:

  • Work with CE Manager to execute yearly social advertising plan with a focus on social and digital 
    channels.
  • Support and enhance the consumer journey across all touchpoints and help define content 
    needs.
  • Drive creativity and innovation for best-in-class customer focussed omni-channel communications
    to maximise ROI based on business objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities across all digital channels to drive consumer engagement 
    for both retention and acquisition.
  • Lead asset management and creation.

Local Content Strategy:

  • Lead the development and continual optimisation of the UK content strategy.
  • Ensure content is in line with brand guidelines, but is bespoke to the UK, its consumers, and
    current trends.
  • Leverage influencers and UGC community to generate content and boost owned and earned 
    engagement.
  • Identify new opportunities to further optimise global and local content utilised across paid and 
    owned channels.
  • Oversee local shoots, developing briefs, briefing internal/external agencies and working closely 
    Consumer Engagement Manager and product marketing team to ensure concepts and themes 
    are in line with overall objectives.
  • Create content whenever relevant, self-filming and editing for a quick turnaround.
  • Maintain posting schedules for all social media channels using past performance and data to inform 
    timings.

Budget Management:

  • Ensure that purchase orders and invoices are raised and paid timely, to drive strong A&P 
    accuracy.

Team Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaboration with ICC community.
  • Work with internal ELC studios team, briefing assets as and when required to support key 
    focuses and trends.

This role is responsible for the planning and posting on all organic social channels, curating engaging 
content plans and copy that connects, resonates, and engages with the Dr.Jart+ Community and beyond. 
This involves taking a consumer-centric approach to content creation and planning, using data and insight 
to optimise performance across our organic channels. A keen interest in the UK beauty market, the ability 
to identify upcoming trends and a passion for the social space is critical for this role.
This position reports to the Consumer Engagement Manager as part of the marketing department.
Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years’ experience in social media centric role.
  • Must have experience managing social media channels & demonstrate best-in-class content.
    creation skills.
  • Passionate about the beauty business, trends, and culture.
  • Experience in leading digital campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative style, able to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complexity and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hungry to break boundaries, proactive, agile and a multi-tasker.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and computer skills required with a constant attention to detail 
    and excellence in the execution.
  • A positive, can-do attitude is key, as well as being a team player
