What You'll Do:
As a Senior UX Designer, you'll take charge of redefining complex experiences into simple, user-friendly solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end design process: discovery, user journey mapping, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Advocating for human-centred design across teams and the broader organisation.
- Collaborating within agile squads to enhance user experience across digital products.
- Conducting discovery sessions to understand user needs and validating designs through usability testing.
- Promoting inclusive design practises and ensuring accessibility in all your designs.
- Engaging with quantitative data to inform and refine your design decisions.
- Facilitating workshops and participatory design sessions to gather insights from business and user partners.
- Supporting and mentoring junior designers to foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
What You'll Bring:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in web, responsive, and native design.
- Experience in high-profile design projects, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Passion for user experience and a knack for solving product challenges.
- A solid understanding of the iterative design process, including research and user testing.
- Proficiency in interaction design for web and mobile applications, with a focus on accessibility (WCAG 2.1 level AA).
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
- A forward-thinking attitude, ready to embrace AI and its potential in UX design.
- Previous retail sector experience is a plus!
