Here at N Brown, we are looking for a Retoucher to join our Studio Services team. You will work within a highly motivated and collaborative team, helping to deliver the best customer experience through high-quality online imagery. You will be responsible for retouching still life and model ecommerce imagery produced within our in-house photography studios.
As part of the Retouch team, you will work to established SOPs across ecommerce production, while also applying your creative eye and technical expertise to support creative campaign imagery. Maintaining exceptional quality standards across all customer-facing communications is central to this role.
What will you do as an Retoucher at N Brown?
- Retouch ecommerce imagery (still life, model and AI-generated assets) across all N Brown brands to a consistently high standard.
- Evaluate imagery within Photoshop to ensure all assets meet or exceed agreed quality standards.
- Responsible for the efficient processing, approval and delivery of assets, updating production status trackers as required.
- Ensure colour accuracy and garment matching against physical samples where required.
- Work independently to SOPs and allocated workflows while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Download, manage and upload assets across multiple systems and platforms.
- Liaise with Studio, Creative and Buying teams to fully understand retouch requirements and priorities.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
- Support Creative Retouchers on campaign and marketing imagery as required.
- Share knowledge and best practice across the team to improve efficiencies, communication and decision-making.
- Assist in training and supporting junior team members.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of fashion trends, retouch techniques and industry best practice.
What skills and experience will you have?
- Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop with strong knowledge of digital retail production workflows.
- Proven experience in ecommerce studio retouching, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Experience retouching creative campaigns and marketing shoots (studio and location) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of colour correction, garment accuracy and image consistency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Passionate about maintaining high creative and technical standards.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail asset production systems.

Ways of Working:
We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am - 4pm. Given we don’t have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that’s right for you.
