Your team:
What being a Product Owner means at Flutter UKI; our Product Owner's are an evolution of the traditional Business Analyst role; building on the core responsibilities of a BA whilst leaning into an embedded Product centric role, which will see you work closely with our Product and Software Development teams.

We're looking for a Product Owner to join our Gaming Experience team where you’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams, conducting detailed analysis to enable the delivery of high-quality software regularly, repeatedly, and predictably in a high volume, always on digital service environment using Lean and Agile Methods.

This role is ideal for someone with an analytical approach, who relishes the opportunity to be embedded within an agile software delivery team, across a diverse variety of projects, and is comfortable in managing change.

What you'll do:

  • Work with cross-disciplined stakeholders such as, product managers, solution architects and delivery leads to analyse sophisticated problems and opportunities.

  • Elicit, validate, and challenge requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, refining into user stories for tech teams.

  • Conduct low level detailed analysis, helping to understand the wider impacts of any changes.  Identifying and highlighting risks and dependencies and ensuring these are clearly understood and articulated.

  • Assist in the prioritisation of work, breaking it down in a meaningful way to minimise dependencies and facilitate the continuous delivery of value.

  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of epics and user stories, ensuring that the value of each piece of work has been assessed, is measurable.

  • Provide the voice of the customer, ensuring the team understand the customer motivations, goals, and challenges.

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the stakeholders involved in the work of your squad.

  • Be a bridge between business and technical teams by translating business requirements into technical artefacts and communicating the technical solution back to the business teams.

How you'll do it:

  • Have a strong Agile approach and be comfortable in related ways of working e.g. requirements gathering, Backlog Refinement, Ticket Elaboration, 3 Amigos.

  • Have the ability to grasp the fundamentals of our technology platforms and tools and be able to communicate our proposed solutions to senior partners from across the business.

  • Be an outstanding communicator and be comfortable collecting requirements from all areas of the business utilising various techniques.

  • Have a keen eye on the detail whilst working with the squad, without losing focus on the bigger picture.

  • Be a self-starter, inquisitive, never satisfied with the status-quo.

  • Be confident and credible when working with stakeholders including internally, across third parties and those making up the wider Flutter brand.

What’s on offer:

  • £/€1,000 learning fund

  • Twice-yearly bonus (with part of it guaranteed!)

  • Unlimited Holiday

  • Pension contribution scheme

  • Private healthcare

  • Hybrid Working

  • Access to thousands of Udemy courses

  • Invest via the Company Sharesave Scheme
