About the role:
We’re building the next generation of EE TV – bringing together the best content into one seamless, intuitive experience.
As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how millions of customers discover, access, and enjoy TV. You’ll own end-to-end design across mobile, app, and big screen experiences, combining hands-on delivery with the opportunity to influence how our TV platforms evolve.
This is a great opportunity for a designer who wants to move beyond pure execution and have a broader impact—working across multiple platforms, collaborating with partners, and helping raise the bar for design across the product.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the design of end-to-end EE TV experiences across mobile, app, and big screen platforms—shaping how customers discover and watch content
- Lead on improving content discovery and navigation, solving complex challenges to make finding great TV effortless for customers
- Take responsibility for key parts of the customer journey, driving measurable improvements in engagement, retention, and cross-sell
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring ideas to life, from early concept and prototyping through to final delivery
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g. platform and software providers), providing design direction and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to the wider design strategy, helping define standards, evolve design systems, and raise the overall quality of design across the product
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Strong experience in product (UX/UI) design, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from discovery through to delivery
- Proven ability to design across complex digital products, ideally spanning multiple platforms (e.g. mobile, web, or TV)
- Confident managing stakeholders and working in a consultative way, influencing decisions across Product, Engineering, and external partners
- Experience contributing to or evolving design systems, with an understanding of consistency, scalability, and reusability
- Strong capability in design tools such as Figma Adobe CC or similar design tools, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Experience designing for TV, streaming platforms, or 10ft interfaces
- Experience working with external partners or third-party design/development teams
- Strong understanding of accessibility principles and inclusive design standards
- Background in telecoms, media, or other multi-product consumer ecosystems
- Experience using customer insights, analytics, or research to inform design decisions
