The Interior Studio is a multidisciplinary practice committed to delivering exceptional interiors at the highest level of creative expression, within the luxury residential field. The collaborative designers and architects are storytellers, crafting a bespoke narrative for each interior with their designs.
About the Role:
As a Midweight Interior Architect, you’ll assist in delivering a wide range of luxury residential projects under supervision from Senior Designers. These will be small to medium sized, up to the value of £1million. You will also undertake full site measurements and liaise with all sub-contractors for each project.
You will produce a full set of detailed design intent information including elevations, schedules (FF&E, Finishes, Ironmongery, Joinery etc.) and associated project documents and issuing them with clarity and organisation to the project team and the client where required.
Your creativity and use of design packages will enable you to carry out detailed and accurate drawing packages, in line with client brief and Senior Designer guidelines. You will monitor project timelines with the Project Management team, and partner the Procurement team to ensure products are fully specified. You will also carry out site, supplier and warehouse visits and snagging reports.
About You:
As a Midweight Interior Architect, you must have experience from a luxury residential, ideally within the UK market. This will be looked at in depth at interview stage. You will hold a degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or have equivalent work experience.
You will also:
- Be confident working in a dynamic team, wanting to be in a team environment
- Be able to develop stakeholder relationships
- Have experience using the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Proven record of utilising AI tools to create and refine visuals.
- Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities, flexing your approach to tailor to each client
- Have superb organisational skills, be proactive in approach and excellent attention to detail
About Us:
As the world’s luxury emporium, we deliver a magical, memorable experience for customers. This makes us uniquely challenging for creative minds, to protect and grow our brand demands extraordinary composure, creativity and commerciality. Harrods’ global brand offers uniquely exciting challenges, and we nurture a supportive environment where creativity, resilience and commercial awareness make anything possible.
Our Promise to You:
We pride ourselves on challenging conventional thinking and making the impossible possible. If you share our positive approach, this is a career move that will open doors for you. You’ll gain experience across the business while working at the heart of a fast-paced and prestigious team.
In return, you’ll receive an excellent benefits package, including a company pension, flexible working, eligibility for a competitive bonus, 25 days’ holiday, and your birthday off, up to 33% in-store discount (including across our food hall and restaurants) and a season ticket loan.
Uniquely You:
