Alongside our Brand & Channels team, you’ll work within a newly created Marketing & Eminence function, to help shape one of biggest brands in business and ensure the power of our brand is felt by clients and key audiences as we go to market.

This role requires a blend of brand knowledge and understanding, creativity and the ability to partner effectively with agencies and professionals, stakeholders and project management skills, a collaborative way of working, and care for producing excellent work.

We’re ideally looking for professional services experience, though that’s not essential. However, you do need to be able to demonstrate experience working across several aspects of brand management.

You’ll work with the Director of Brand to drive strategic projects to develop the Deloitte brand in the UK, influencing and creating best practice thinking across the business. We believe in the power of autonomy, and you will also have the opportunity to own your own projects and stakeholder groups which will deliver measurable impact for the brand and wider firm.

You will also be responsible for governance of the UK firm’s use of our global brand, working with your colleagues in the brand team and the wider network of marketing professionals to support the business in the consistent application of our brand.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Brand strategy, engagement and governance: Support the delivery of our brand strategy and global brand positioning Together makes progress, driving a consistent brand position in the market. You’ll be comfortable interpreting and understanding guidelines and standards and confident in advising people at all levels of our firm and with varying degrees of brand knowledge (from briefing designers and creatives, to supporting colleagues with limited understanding) on how best to bring our brand to life in new and creative ways, while still remaining ‘on brand’.
  • Project delivery and SME expertise: You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that connect with those that matter most in our firm: our clients, our people and wider society. This could include projects that improve our clients experience of the Deloitte brand, the development of new products and solutions, enhancing our people experience and talent brand, as well as more traditional B2B marketing activities.
  • Marketing Connection: Support the wider Marketing & Eminence function by providing brand-led tracking and insights, helping to drive strategically focused marketing activities and optimising campaign execution to effectively connect with target audiences.
  • Brand Identity: Lead on brand governance, with support from the rest of the team; manage our visual identity, master brand, name, and manage the tools that help enable our business to use our brand clearly and confidently.
  • Advise: Consult with and advise the wider business on how to position our brand in marketing campaigns, product offerings, new initiatives and third party relationships - embedding our global brand positioning Together makes progress into the heart of our messaging. 
  • Training & education: Engage the Clients & Markets community, helping to ensure they all feel enabled to take ownership of the brand as ambassadors through training, relationship building and effective communication
  • Core brand assets and programmes: Oversee and approve the production of brand assets and materials, liaising with designers, copywriters and agencies as relevant

Personal independence:

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
