Our Role:

Working within the Visual Merchandising department, the Junior Retail Graphic Designer understands the requirements of our stores and customers to develop POS and marketing that supports product presentations, seasonal storytelling, and promotional material. This role is responsible for cross-working with other peer designers to ensure the brand expression is consistent across all channels.

What you'll be doing:

Summary of the Role’s Main Purpose:

  • Working alongside the VM team to design Seasonal POS. Creating innovative, commercial solutions where the graphics work seamlessly alongside the visual presentation.
  • Brief Creative & Editorial to develop consistent and brand appropriate retail graphics.
  • Requesting Editorial and Department sign off for each project.
  • Accountable for the ordering, allocation, and production of all retail POS.
  • Maintaining the Finance Tracker - monitoring the POS budget, ensuring spend is relevant and measurable.
  • Responsible for the design, production, and allocation of Sale/MSS windows and in store POS.
  • Editing seasonal video campaigns and uploading onto screens in retail.
  • Managing the POS in box, responding and resolving all retail POS queries.
  • Working with the VM team to deliver the POS presentation of each Model Store to the highest standards.
  • Working with Marketing on the design, production, and allocation of Retail event POS.
  • Supporting with Press Shows/Marketing events.
  • Maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Undertake seasonal store visits and support with VM & Window set ups.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report back in team and departmental meetings.

Core Areas of Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Graphic design and a keen interest in Retail.
  • Hardworking, flexible attitude and good sense of humour. Is resourceful and determined.
  • Thorough knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing.
  • Excellent typography skills with experience in seeing concepts through to final artwork stage.
  • Ability to work well independently, under pressure and to tight deadlines. Can respond positively to changing priorities.
  • Must be highly organised, with strong written and verbal skills and take responsibility for own workload.
