Doubletake is the innovation team for Frasers Group, we work with a number of well-established brands ranging from activewear to high fashion. Doubletake Innovation also take part in collaborations with outside brands and influencers (most recently Zara, Free People, MJB for Selfridges) therefore along with the day-to-day tech duties, this role will lead new exiting opportunities and chances to elevate your skills!

  • Undertaking trend research, ensuring this is relevant and directional.
  • Creating concept boards that successfully communicate ideas and vision.
  • Design and develop ranges, with a focus on brand elevation and attention to detail.
  • Confidently presenting research & ranges to the wider team in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Communicate with suppliers and oversee the style development processes.
  • Ensuring ranges are produced on time and to a high standard.
  • Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Support senior members of the design team across projects.
  • Contributing creatively to the wider team and helping where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • 1-2 years experience working within a design role
  • Bachelors degree in Fashion design or similar
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to design both trend led commercial & conceptual ranges
  • Experience in communicating with factories & suppliers
  • Ability to create clear & detailed tech packs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable:

  • Some level of experience in fit sessions and working with garment techs
  • Experience designing across multiple product categories
  • Experience presenting ranges to the design team and management
