Junior Product Development & Graphic Designer

Join a fast-growing consumer products business

We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic graduate or junior designer to join our product development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on toys, collectibles, plush, sensory products and consumer brands that are sold by many of the UK’s biggest retailers.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll help create new products from initial concepts through to finished packaging, working closely with our design, marketing and sourcing teams.

If you’re passionate about design, trends and creating products that people love, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing toy packaging and retail displays
  • Creating product concepts, mood boards and presentations
  • Producing artwork for packaging, instructions and point-of-sale materials
  • Developing branding, logos and graphics for new product ranges
  • Preparing print-ready artwork
  • Editing product photography and lifestyle images
  • Creating social media graphics and marketing materials
  • Researching the latest toy, lifestyle and consumer trends
  • Working with overseas factories to develop new products
  • Supporting the product development team from concept through to production

What we’re looking for

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Graphic Design, Product Design or a related subject
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • A creative portfolio demonstrating excellent design ability
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with 3D software such as Blender, Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of packaging design
  • Photography or video editing experience
  • Understanding of social media content creation
  • Illustration skills
  • An interest in toys, collectibles, gifting or consumer products

What we offer

  • A fantastic opportunity to begin your design career
  • Real responsibility from day one
  • The chance to see your products in major retailers across the UK
  • Friendly and supportive working environment
  • Ongoing training and career development
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free on-site parking

If you’re ambitious, creative and ready to start your career creating exciting consumer products, we’d love to hear from you.
