Main duties & Responsibilities

  • Improve and develop chemical compliance policies 
  • Improve and develop ESG policies, processes, and reporting inputs across Product, Sourcing, Operations, People, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Responsible for translating ESG reporting expectations and emerging EU sustainability legislation into practical implementation
  • Lead ESG data mapping, collection, validation, and documentation across environmental, social and governance topics.
  • Support ESG reporting and certification requirements, including B Corp submissions.
  • Monitor upcoming UK/EU sustainability legislation and translate requirements into internal actions and timelines.
  • Working knowledge of UK/EU product compliance, with ability to support delivery.
  • Main contact for BRC and Textiles 2030
  • Ensure all relevant policies are relayed to relevant to teams to ensure company compliance

What would we like to see in you?

  • Educated to Degree level 
  • 3+ years experience in an ESG, sustainability, compliance role
  • Extensive knowledge on chemical compliance
  • Experience of implementing and driving a circularity business model
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • A confident communicator at all levels
  • Knowledge of Prop 65 would be advantageous
  • Experience of packaging would be an advantageous
