Main duties & Responsibilities
- Improve and develop chemical compliance policies
- Improve and develop ESG policies, processes, and reporting inputs across Product, Sourcing, Operations, People, Finance, and Marketing.
- Responsible for translating ESG reporting expectations and emerging EU sustainability legislation into practical implementation
- Lead ESG data mapping, collection, validation, and documentation across environmental, social and governance topics.
- Support ESG reporting and certification requirements, including B Corp submissions.
- Monitor upcoming UK/EU sustainability legislation and translate requirements into internal actions and timelines.
- Working knowledge of UK/EU product compliance, with ability to support delivery.
- Main contact for BRC and Textiles 2030
- Ensure all relevant policies are relayed to relevant to teams to ensure company compliance
What would we like to see in you?
- Educated to Degree level
- 3+ years experience in an ESG, sustainability, compliance role
- Extensive knowledge on chemical compliance
- Experience of implementing and driving a circularity business model
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- A confident communicator at all levels
- Knowledge of Prop 65 would be advantageous
- Experience of packaging would be an advantageous
