We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.

We are Full Circle, and we're all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. As the developers of Skate™, we are set to provide an experience that embraces and builds upon everything our community found special about the previous games. We believe in creating an inclusive world inside and outside of our games for our players and our team. As a geo-diverse studio, our team members around the globe can either work from home, in the office or a hybrid of both.

We are looking for an experienced Character Artist to join our Skate team. This is an opportunity to join us at the beginning of full production on a new entry in the Skate franchise. You will report to Skate's Character Director and work in collaboration with content creators on character customization features and content creation techniques. While this role is for someone who has experience across the entire character art production process, we are particularly interested in candidates looking to focus on or develop their expertise in creating sculpted, stylized clothing assets.

• Implement character assets into our character customization system.

• Explore how to optimize and evolve existing workflows and pipelines.

• Develop new, or enhance, existing character customization features and workflows for our live service.

• Create production guides, and reference assets to communicate with internal artists and external outsourcers.

• Participate in group asset reviews - both internal and external - and give peer feedback on all aspects of the character creation process.

• Communicate about the processes involved with the creation of character assets through meetings, presentations, and documentation.

• Attend all planning and team meetings; Build user stories and produce time estimates for project planning.

• Stay current with the state-of-the-industry in character modeling and surfacing.

Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialog to be considered.

• 5+ Years Experience on video game asset production teams

• Experience shipping character content position on 1-2 shipped console/PC titles.

• Strong understanding of human anatomy and movement.

• High level of skill in 3D sculpture, materials/surfacing, topology and authoring blendshapes.

• Proficiency in the use of Maya to create topology and UV's for character assets.

• Understanding of how the components of a character customization system function with one another.

• A degree in Fine Art, Digital Art, Animation, Visual Design, or related diploma or certificate.

Please submit a portfolio/demo reel link with your application.
