The Challenge Ahead:
We're looking for an Associate Gameplay Designer to help build the future of Battlefield.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to develop their skills while contributing to one of the world's most iconic FPS franchises. Working alongside experienced Gameplay Designers and a multidisciplinary team, playing a meaningful role in bringing our shared vision to life.
What You'll Do:

You will report directly into the Gameplay Design Director

Work predominantly within the Frostbite game engine, with expectation to build understanding and competency using multiple systems, tools and workflows to deliver gameplay experiences that achieve desired project goals

Support with the implementation and tweaking of gameplay systems to meet requirements

Work closely with multiple disciplines on a day-to-day basis, from Technical Designers and Software Engineers, to Level Designers, Narrative Designers, Character Artists and more
What We're Looking For:

Knowledgeable about FPS games / the Battlefield franchise

Passion for making meaningful player experiences through gameplay
-
Experience creating games as part of a team (professional, personal, or during university)

Demonstrable experience of implementing gameplay systems and game balancing in game engines (such as Unreal or Unity)

Foundational knowledge of game design theories and methodologies
-
Professional experience beneficial, but not essential
