Overview:
We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Assistant Designer to join our Softs team, someone with a true passion for feminine design and a keen eye for print, pattern, texture and embroidery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an already established Assistant Designer who brings a positive, can-do attitude, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is always willing to go the extra mile.
Alongside providing strong administrative support to the team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Designer and collaborate across Design, Buying and Merchandising, playing a key role in bringing creative, customer-focused product to life while continuing to grow your ownership, confidence and design expertise within a supportive and inspiring team.
Approaching every task with positivity and resilience, you’ll be a true team player who lives and breathes the Boden values, with a strong understanding of and affinity for the Boden core customer.
Location: 4 days per week in our North Acton office, with 1 day from home. During busier periods, flexibility to work 5 days per week from the office will be required.

-
Support colour palette creation, colour ordering and colour management processes.
-
Set up and maintain seasonal Miro boards and garment range boards.
-
Sketch into samples, research brands, prepare meetings, take notes, manage trackers, and maintain creative spaces.
What We Are Looking For:
-
A flexible mindset and resilience to change.
-
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all aspects of work.
-
The ability to contribute to a positive creative culture.
-
Good basic knowledge of competitor and aspirational brands.
-
A keen interest in colour and print.

-
PLM experience is preferable.
-
A BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design, Print, Illustration or Textiles, with sufficient DAA experience.
Our Behaviours:

-
We keep things simple. We say what we mean, keep each other in the loop, and follow through on what we’ve said we’ll do.
-
We care about doing a good job - and we care about each other. We’re always kind, often honest, and we will push for high standards without making it heavy.
-
We know what we’re good at, we lean on each other when needed, and we show up as a team - taking ownership and getting things done together.
What We Offer:
-
Competitive salary & targeted annual bonus scheme.
-
Generous Boden clothing allowance.
-
30% discount on all current clothing ranges.
-
25 days Holiday annually, plus Bank Holidays.

We believe in hiring the best person for the job whoever they are, helping them thrive in it and celebrating their individuality.
