WHAT TO EXPECT:
As the JLR’s Creative function goes through an exciting period of growth and change, we have a unique new opportunity for a 3D Modeller to join our team.
As the 3D Modeller, you will be part of the Tech and Data Hub Model Production team, responsible for generating high-quality 3D visualisation models, all produced and compliant with Tech and Data Hub creative and technical standards.
You will provide 3D-modelled content to support a variety of on-board and off-board CGI use cases, across Vehicle Design, Materiality, Brand and Customer Ready workstreams, using cross-functional collaboration and support.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Consume build inputs to generate model content according to Tech and Data Hub Standards

Collaborate with Lead on production scheduling, delivery timings and status

Be accountable and ensure optimal quality of own work produced, as well as constructively critique modelled content created by others in the production team

Identify areas to develop Tech and Data Hub processes and standards through continuous improvement in collaboration with the team

Develop 3D scene management, 3D topology modelling, UV implementation, material/shader development and application, sculpting and reference material management
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
-
Direct experience in 3D Modelling within CGI industry
-
Able to demonstrate experience in the modelling of complicated geometry using Maya
-
Experience in Autodesk Maya or Autodesk 3ds Max
-
Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator

Experience in data and file management, scene structuring and 3D modelling
