M3GAN 2 is kicking off and we are looking for a talented 3D artist with a solid skill base, keen to try their hand in the 3D to manufacture pipeline.
We have a challenging build ahead (think robocop or terminator) and need someone who can work from concept art and produce good quality clean geometry ready for the rest of the 3D team to begin 3D printing and CNC machining.
Key Skills (Intermediate skill level, or a solid personal portfolio):
- Maya (or equivalent, 3ds Max, C4D) (Hard surface).
- Zbrush (Hard surface).
- Experience or personal projects showcasing concept to 3D work.
- Professional file management (there are lots of individual parts to make and prep).
- Some experience in team-based roles (doesn’t have to be in film or agency roles).
What we need from you:
- Clear organized portfolio showcasing 3D hard surface modelling.
- CV
We are basing in Auckland NZ and are hoping to kick off this part of the project ASAP, but work can be remote for the right person.
