About me

Hello I have just completed an MA in Children's Book Illustration with Distinction from the Cambridge School of Art. Prior to this, I studied at the Norwich University of the Arts where I received a First Class BA (Hons.) in Graphic Design (Illustration).

I specialise in narrative illustration, including illustration for children. My work concentrates on creating obscure worlds that play with the ideas of scale, tone, shadow and pattern.

My work has been selected for the AOI's Images competition, now for the third time in annuals 34, 35 and the forthcoming 36. In 2009 I won the Norfolk Contemporary Art Society 'Best in NUCA Degree Show'.
