About me
My current position is Head Offline Graphic Designer for Verbaudet, one of the major brands of Redcats UK. Having initially being employed as a Creative Art-worker in 2006, I was quickly promoted to my current position after just one year. Working at Redcats UK has provided me with the opportunity to unleash my creative flair through creating new and exciting designs. Furthermore, I have also been given the opportunity to Art Direct photo shoots. Within this, I was solely responsible for the entire photo shoot from concept design to the finished artwork piece. This has enabled me to demonstrate my ability to successfully move from a relatively junior role into a position of Senior Designer. In my current position; I have created innovative ways of working, whilst at the same time managing the workload of my team and the creative direction that the projects should take. Throughout my time in this position, I have undertaken the production of digital artwork for reproduction. As part of this, I have to liaise with various French branded marketing teams, Photographers, Modelling Agencies, outside suppliers and the In-House production team. This role requires me to ensure that mail packs are produced in the most cost effective way adhering to brand values and meeting strict deadlines. My friendly and bubbly approach means that I can work well within a team and on my own initiative. I especially enjoy brainstorming new and exciting ideasI feel my experience has give me a realistic view of the industry along with the inspiration to never stop learning and to always challenge myself to improve.Having risen to the challenge from Art-worker to Senior Designer I'm looking to move to the next step. I feel a Well-established creative agency could be a new and very exciting challenging place to work where I can continue doing a position that I am so passionate about and also enjoy sharing my skills and experience with others.
