Dear Sir/ Madam,
My name is Joanne, I am currently studying Interior Design at UAL. I have had a passion for art from a young, and now that I am older I want to turn my passion into a dream that never ends. I love to designs and wish to become part of your creative team.
the last few years have started to help me in understanding what my true goals and vision have been, I have realized that my previous jobs in the airline industry were working to live and not really working to create and that makes me really unhappy inside. I want to be able to find myself. I feel art has helped me to achieve a sense of peace, by being so connected with art and design. It's what makes me feel alive again. Fashion and designs are what I have been teaching myself for the past 2 years along with help of those in the industry.
To further my personal knowledge and take progressive steps into realizing my goal, I enrolled at Kingston College where I actively engaged in projects involving screen printing, 3D textile recycling, filmography, and printmaking, centered around the work of a pioneer, Andy Warhol. Eager to learn more, I would often spend time outside of college playing with different techniques rooted in contemporary pieces, fragmentation, distortion, and solarization. My experiences to date suggest I've got the foundation to excel in an undergraduate degree in Interior Design.
Receiving an Associate's degree from the University of West London in Airline made me a slave to a strict schedule. Punctuality is something I take very seriously, which has proven beneficial when it comes to meeting deadlines. An active social life has also enhanced my communication skills, which in turn has allowed me to work better in a team setting. These are all traits I believe would be advantageous to my becoming successful in applying for this role.
