About me
I have been initiating projects and coordinating creative minds since late 2003 where I started out curating exhibitions for Nu Gallery - a fashion emporium and creative space, whilst studying for my Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Throughout my degree and since graduating , I have curated numerous exhibitions and resided with 9 others at the Artist's Collective headquarters Cross Street Studios, where I was involved in the running of the gallery.
Since leaving Cross Street Studios I have pursued a curatorial project with another former member of the collective, opening Liberty Gallery - a platform for emerging low brow artists.
I am based in Auckland for the next few months, working as a freelance photographer for publications including Vice Magazine and Real Groove, as well as full time employment with Nu Skin Enterprises as a PhotoMax lab assistant .
As well as furthering my technical and curatorial abilities, my work history has given me a large amount of experience in administration, organisation, time management, and communication skills.
I am a friendly, outgoing person, a fast learner and an honest and hard worker, which I feel are also important attributes within a workplace.
