Job vacancy in Product Design Industry

I have recently graduated from John Moores University (JMU), where I gained a BSc in Product Innovation and Development.

Whilst studying for my degree I have developed knowledge of:

product development,

manufacturing processes,

product performance,

testing,

finite element analyst,

modelling and investigating form and function

During my time at JMU, I have developed my CAD skills using applications like Solid Works, Edge Cam, Photoshop, Corel Draw, 4D Cinema, Sketch up, Auto and Archi Cad.

I am a creative and a hard-working (but modest!) individual, who loves to take on new challenges and learn new skills. Before my period at JMU I was an art teacher with Dada Studio, who was responsible for creating new tasks and exercises for young children with the aim of increase their knowledge of arts and helping them to develop their artistic skills.

I feel I am very motivated and have set myself self-commissioned projects, such as my educational toys for the partially and fully blind children. My determination to complete this project resulted in a company producing my designs for a special needs school, and helped me demonstrate my passion and understanding of specialist user needs.

Working as an exhibition designer for different clients, who exhibit at international trade fairs, has allowed me to develop my time management and communication skills as well as teaching me how to work effectively as part of a large and small team.

I am punctual, conscientious and enjoy working above and beyond what is required. I take pleasure in working as part of a team, as well as individually- which is evident within my University coursework.
