About me

Hi I am Jocelyn Joanna Morrison I'm known to have a very funny, bubbly, quirky, creative personality. I love getting to know people whatever their age, as I believe everyone has a story to tell and this has given me the ability to work with all age groups.

I have been a professional camera person as well as film editor for the last five years working with high profile companies and clients internationally. During my time as a cameraperson/editor I have gained a number of skills and experiences that have led me to project manage a few of our production projects over the last five years.

An example of this was with a high profile client who wanted us to produce an advert as well as market their new company. I was in charge of location settings, cast, storyboarding and photography. I managed to deliver on time and the client was very pleased with the out come of our work.

I enjoy reading; I'm more fascinated about historical books and biographies. I find a lot of wonder in how our history has a contrary effect on our current state. I like reading about people lives and what struggle or lifestyle they went through to get where they are; this inspires me.

Volunteering is another passion of mine and I have been doing it since I was young. This summer I had a great opportunity of being a London Ambassador - representing London and the UK at the Olympic games. This was a great experience meeting some many people and being proud of my city. In my retirement (or before) I wish to travel to each continent help different charities and eventually building my own to help young people.

I spend time with my family in particular my nieces and nephews taking them to museums, theme parks and tours around the UK.

Sector Experience

I have mainly worked in the film production sector since I graduated university in 2006. For the last 5 years I've had the privilege of working with EMH Global ltd (formally known as Eagle Media House) which is a multi media company specializing in Web design, bespoke database systems, film production and PR Management., I've learnt and gained many skills from this company as well as broadening my personal experience. Over the last twelve months I've become more involved in different sectors of the company which include working directly with company clients; advising them on the best options for their business or brand. I was also the lead designer in revamping the company website. I worked very closely with the website developers and overall gained a great learning experience from the project.
