About me
With a career designing for high profile customers such as ASOS, Miss Selfridge, Lipsy and River Island, I am an innovative and versatile professional with extensive experience in womenswear design, and have a proven track record designing casual, smart and formalwear multiproduct, across woven and jersey, at a high street level.
With high levels of organisation and innovation I have successfully maintained good working relationships with leading brand buyers and designers, as well as fabric and trim suppliers and outsourced sample rooms. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, office programs and solid hand drawing skills.
Experience working closely with in house pattern cutters and machinists to develop and produce first samples, developing my knowledge in these areas within a professional environment. Further experience working with overseas sample and development factories, managing their sampling critical path and fabric sourcing, means I have a well rounded knowledge of in house, UK outsourced and overseas production processes.
Travel experience to Delhi, Mumbai and Hong Kong for factory visits and fabric sourcing, as well as trade show and research trips to Paris, Berlin and Madrid. Various press coverage in Grazia, LOOK and Cosmopolitan UK magazines.
