Re: DESIGNER
I am writing in response to your advertisement for a Graphic Designer.
I am currently a freelance designer working from home and in-house for publishing houses and other clients - including charities. This means I am very adaptable, friendly and work on both individual projects and within a team. Previously I worked for Macmillan Publishers in London for 12 years as a Senior Designer.
Having worked in a variety of design areas including print, packaging, web design, corporate branding, publishing and production, I can bring a broad knowledge of experience, a variety of skills and creativeness to this role. Budgets and deadlines are second nature to me and I am always keen to learn and develop new skills.
I am very interested in this position as it is for a worthwhile cause and from previous charity experience (including designing for the National Aids Trust), I have found great job satisfaction in the projects. I want to move back into full-time employment and am prepared to relocate if necessary.
