About me
When I was relatively young, my dad asked me to write the words for his mum's funeral. He has always known of my magic wand with words. I was approached to write a creative story in primary school for an external assessment however, easily lured plus, pretty dumb, I cheated and poached an idea from something I'd spotted on TV. Back in the day, I'd read a dictionary for delight but, somewhere along the path of growing up, my passion for words was squashed down. Post polishing off a BSc in nutrition (and relishing my freedom!), I didn't want to work within pharmaceuticals or, the food field. I moved back to live with my parents and worked as an administration assistant for the council in the Healthy Schools department. Desperate to break free from the chains of that depressive desk, I decided to train as a school teacher. After passing my final placement in Plaistow and landing a job in Maryland, I moved to London. I survived the year, long enough to fully qualify. Having discovered Astanga Yoga at university, I'd persisted to practice and this seemed to be where my joy was now -on the merry mat. I took to Yoga teaching like a duck to water and that was my world until that career took a dive -with a conclusive clout from the Covid pandemic! Rescued by love, I expressed floating in the water with letters. Thanks to my love because he reminded me of my love for the written word. When all I had ever known to be true about who I was got erased from the page, he believed in me to write my novel in making, 'M'. I am an artist. My work: capturing attention.
