About me

Dear Sir/Madam,I am interested in working at Interior Designer. I can work hard, work with team and work under pressure. I finished my MA Design course at the University for the Creative Arts, which was Kent Institute of Art & Design, in September 2009. In this one year, my design subject is Minimalism. I am not only interested in modern design but also keen on traditional design styles. So I tried to combine modern and traditional design styles together. My course has enabled me to acquire a range of design skills and enhance technical skill including research, making physical model and so on which are highlighted in my enclosed CV.Now I am working in Change that Room by Helen Reed Design as an intern. This job offer me learn a lot of different materials that is soft materials, for example, which kind of materials are good for curtain, which kind of materials good for covering of sofa and so on. Now I can deal with customer helping them choose materials, can answer phone an order materials from our suppliers. And also I draw the most of Auto CAD work and Vectorworks for the projects.I have been worked in design circle for four years. These four years experiences for me are very important because I learnt a lot of things, for example, how to use professional software well, how to deal with customers and my colleague and improved my design skills. The last year I worked in a Shanghai office of Perkins Eastman, American Architecture Company, which is one of the most famous Architecture companies in United States. In that company, I was an interior architecture designer. I learnt more design skills and relationship between customers and my colleague. Not only I was an interior architecture designer, but also I need be a graphic designer. As a graphic designer, I prepared presentation for the head of designer in Powerpoint, correct mistake by Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. In these four years, I did different interior design such as commercial design, hospital design, exhibition design, retail design, residential design and so on. I can use computer software very well, especially Auto CAD, Photoshop, 3D MAX and Illustrator because I have been using Auto CAD and Photoshop for 3 years, 3D MAX and Illustrator for 2 years.I would give my full attention to any project in which I was involved and hope that you would be able to make good use of my current skills and enthusiasm for design.Ideally, I hope to be able to work for your company and can start immediately.
