About me

I am a technical/creative hybrid who is driven by ideas and technology with a wide ranging background in digital media, design and training. I am fully self-employed and have also worked with tech firms, financial services providers, business consultants, communications agencies and broadcasters principally in the UK.

I am passionate about good design, how it engages with the user experience and how visual communication can make seemingly complex concepts much simpler.

My knowledge of the technical side of things allows me to communicate with technical team members at an in-depth and detailed level whilst allowing me to communicate with other partners, associates and colleagues with the same information at a more understandable and accessible, albeit similarly detailed level. I've had a lot of client-facing and presentation experience and I enjoy speaking, presenting, and sharing ideas, information and experience.
I have an entrepreneurial outlook, always looking for opportunities and to maximise those opportunities. I can take ownership of responsibilities and able to work on multiple tasks at any one time either solely or within a team. I enjoy traveling with work, meeting new people and can work remotely as part of a virtual team.

I have developed my skills base in the past 9 months and now have a strong grounding in Mobile platforms. In 2011 I launched my first app in the Apple App Store, with another due for release early-2012.
