Jim Steck is the creative force behind more than 30 children's picture and school books that have been delighting young readers and educators world-wide since 1997. His design goals are to create engaging experiences that spark curiosity and inspire learning.

As an internationally acclaimed illustrator, Jim's work also extends across children's magazines, toy manufacturers, greeting card companies, and even the restaurant industry. Jim takes great pleasure in bringing joy to children and families through his illustrations in reading and activity books and on puzzles, games, toys, and souvenirs.
You may have encountered Jim's for-kids work on fun cups and menus at Denny's, Halloween Happy Meal displays at McDonald's, plus promotions for Pizza Hut, Checkers, and Chick-fil-A.
His playful style has also brightened the pages of Nickelodeon Magazine, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and Disney Adventures Magazine.
With over 20 years of experience as an award-winning senior art director at advertising agencies in Central Florida, Jim brings a rich perspective and versatile skill set to each project.
