About me
I am a trained journalist and have worked in print media since 2000, starting as a writer for consumer magazines before shifting to sub-editing roles. I am currently working as a freelance sub-editor.
My most recent staff role was sub-editor at Newtrade Media, which produces a range of high-quality news periodicals for the retail industry, including RN magazine (weekly) and Retail Express newspaper (fortnightly).
I am quick and accurate sub and am proficient in all Adobe publishing software including InDesign, PhotoShop, Acrobat and Illustrator. I also have experience of content-management systems and digital publishing.
I am a skilled writer able to produce lively, clear and engaging copy on any topic, with a background in writing news and feature copy for consumer and trade periodicals. In my spare time, I write creatively for the Ministry of Stories charity.
