About me
British illustrator Jessica Allan has been creating since as long as she can remember. Her love of hand-made items and beautifully illustrated products has encouraged her to pursue a career in illustration.
As a student Jessica experimented in all areas of the arts during her foundation Diploma at Central Saint Martins. After a few years studying Theatre Design for Performance, she discovered her love for costume design was actually more in the drawing process than the making of the costumes.
After changing direction to follow her dream she ended up with a degree in Illustration. Since then she still experiments always with a desire to try a bit of everything. This way of working has left her with a variety of skills and experience.
For the past five years Jessica has been working as an in-house illustrator designing commercial toys, crafts and stationary from inception to finished artwork. She now works as a freelance illustrator and is available for commissions.
