About me
I have recently graduated from the University of Sussex with a BA (Hons) in Media Practice and Theory. I am looking for entry level work into any media related sector and runner work would be ideal.
I am hard working, enthusiastic, individual and reliable. I have experience in hospitality and administration work and have developed vast skills in new media during the past three years of my degree course. I can work well both independently and as a team player, and am notably persistant, with a great eye for detail.
My two greatest passions are music and photography and I enjoy combining these two loves by doing freelance work photographing and promoting bands. My portfolio depicts one of my degree exhibition pieces, titled "mudmasked Men", where I explored the evolution of gender in a society where consumerism is incessant. It combines the humour of metrosexuality, where men are now also being targeted by advertisors, as well as serious issues surrounding body image.
I have also recently completed a professional jewellery photography job for an independent business's online store. One of my biggest aspirations is to travel to Japan in the future to photograph the street fashion in Harajuku and publish my work.
I am friendly, outgoing and have a big personality. I hope my CV will be of interest to any employer who is keen to take on a quick learner to progress within their company, and will start anywhere.
