About me

In my role as Deputy Art Editor I have worked on various supplementary tasks essential to the success of the magazine, such as promotional house ads, website banners, covermounts and packaging. It almost goes without saying that working towards fulfiling a specific brief under the pressure of a strict deadline is practically second nature to me.

I believe that I can apply the experience, skills and knowledge that I have gained so far to successfully design and produce your catalogues to the highest visual standard. I have a keen interest in illustration and enjoy creating my own icons and graphics for the magazine. In addition, I have experience sourcing images through various photo libraries when required. In my own time I enjoy drawing and experimenting with various media to create interesting artwork. For example, I created a logo for a new physiotherapy initiative within a National Health trust, for which I received positive feedback and recognition.

I also enjoy creative courses outside of my working environment, such as jewellery making and screen-printing at the Bath City College.

In summary, I hope that I have managed to convey that I am an enthusiastic and ambitious designer who has a great passion for all things creative. I enjoy rising to new challenges and I am really keen to continue to develop new skills, particularly in design and organisation. I continually strive to generate the best visual solutions to any given brief, demonstrating a great eye for detail, so that I can consistently produce artwork of a high standard. Also, I have the ability to work equally well as part of a team or under my own initiative.
