About me

I enclose my resume for consideration for the Designer position as advertised on creativepool.co.uk.

I specialise in branding, print media, copywriting and websites. I hold a Masters degree in Multimedia Design and have been freelancing for over a year now.

I became interested in working within the digital marketing industry when I successfully carried out my first project, realising the depth and potential of combining new media tools such as social networks or mobile platforms with design.

Through such a combination of media, I believe that the advertising or marketing industry to be boundless. I am eager to share my creative ideas and approach in trying out new technologies.

I have just completed a three months internship as a web/graphic designer and SEO specialist, giving me a deep insight of the media industry. My responsibilities involved the creation of new websites and carry on with their marketing through social network management and search engine optimisation. I was in charge of keeping design consistent through logos, banners, webpages and advertising.

Furthermore i have been freelancing as a web and graphic designer for over a year, tackling various scope of projects and clients successfully.

In addition to my Master's degree, I also hold a Bachelor in Computer Science. I am therefore confident with my computer skills on any system. I favour working with Adobe Creative Suite programs, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects, as well as MS Office Suit.

I have a mix training in Design and IT, and am therefore confident with most Adobe softwares as well as Microsoft Office Suit, on either Windows or MAC systems., My strenghts are in print and branding, having done considerable amounts of logo design and flyers/posters promotion work. I have also a strong proffessional experience in web design and search engine optimisation., -Photoshop: Excellent, -InDesign: Good, -Illustrator: Good, -Flash: Average, -Dreamweaver: Good, -After Effect: Average, -SEO: Good, Finally, I am bilingual French/English and am comfortable doing translation work and working in a multilangual environment.
