About me
The thing I bring that's harder to find: I can hold a brand concept and see it simultaneously across screen, product, retail, social, and event, and I know enough about emerging technologies (including AI) to push what's actually possible. The other side of that is craft — a strong aesthetic point of view and an obsession with how things feel, not just what they do.
For over two decades, across Jung von Matt, VCCP, Acne, R/GA, Imagination & Razorfish, and with a handful of brilliant boutiques (including Moving Brands, ODD and Universal Everything) my focus has been the same: turning complex brands, products, and technology into simple, emotional narratives that people can see, feel, and believe in. Global accounts for BMW, Nike, Converse, Cartier, and Macy's. Work recognised at Cannes Lions, D&AD, the Webbys, and ADC. And at one point, a line or two written for David Beckham at adidas. Still proud of that one.
Most recently as ECD at Journee, I led creative and product vision for immersive experiences and AI-powered products, sitting directly at the intersection of brand, engineering, and product thinking. Not just shaping how things looked, but what they did, how they worked, and what they stood for. I also owned the Journee brand itself, its identity, voice, and how it showed up globally.
The work that fits me best: strategic creative leadership, close to the core of the product, and hands-on enough to matter. Berlin-based, happy anywhere across Europe. If that sounds like your world, let's go.
