About me
Most recently, I was a (copy-based) creative director at OgilvyOne, working on the British Airways account, and also focusing on large pitches such as IAG (the British Airways holding company, a global pitch, which was successful) and Philips (a consolidation pitch for the network to oversee digital products comms in 100 countries), the outcome of which is as yet undecided. I finished at the end of June 2017 due to restructuring. My role involved overseeing British Airways output, ensuring the brand tone and guidelines were tightly adhered to, as well as working closely with strategy leads to check that briefs were as well-informed and focused as they could possibly be.
Before that I was the Executive Creative Director (although I started as a creative consultant) of Hiveworks, an independent experience design agency in London, which I helped get up-and-running following a MBO from Orange Paris. I led the development of the ethos, positioning, identity and processes from scratch. I also oversaw all creative output, being directly involved in ideation and copywriting on all projects for Orange (Hiveworks' founding client) on both external and internal Europe-wide comms.
Previous to that I was the ECD of Omnicom-owned digital agency Weapon7 for five and a half years working on all digital and below-the-line communications for Mercedes-Benz in the UIK and, before that, a creative director at LBI.
I am a prolific writer of thought leadership articles, have spoken at numerous conferences and seminars, have judged many awards shows and have been lucky enough to win a few industry awards along the way...
