I am Applying for the role of Junior Product Retoucher for Wellcom London
I am a recent graduate from a degree in Visual Communications through which I specialised in photography, editing and retouching. I am an extremely focused and driven individual; I believe my skills and experiences are at a level to which I can provide a high quality of service and professionalism.
I have worked as a freelance photographer within fashion and portraiture while studying my degree, through which I gained a greater knowledge in editing and retouching of fashion and product photography. My experiences have given me an insight into the professional industry of photography; and becoming part of a creative team. Applying my knowledge and experience skilfully is something I am very excited and passionate about. I am confident when editing/retouching and I am not afraid to try new things and demonstrate my creative eye, and believe I can deliver a high quality of professionalism and service. I am very competent when using Photoshop, both on MAC and PC, as I edit all of my own work from RAW to final presentable images.
I always work within a creative team when organising shoots to ensure every aspect is covered, such as designers, videographers, creative directors, graphic designers, models, stylists and make up artists. I believe I work well within a team yet I am still able to work to the same high efficiency and quality when I work alone.
I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from Fashion editorial, live music, studio portraiture and product photography, and believe I am a flexible practitioner that would be suitable for this fast paced role. I understand that this job will require drive and enthusiasm and I am willing to put in the time and effort expected to fulfil this demanding role.
