Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to enquire of any Design Assistant roles within your company, please find my CV attached. I have recently graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA Hons in Fashion and looking to join a professional design team.

I have over a years experience in Womenswear Design for the High Street with Pentex, along with extra work experience at Covet design studio. Some of my roles included; general support to the Womenswear team, creating and updating range sheets for factories and design meetings, carrying out shop and trend reports and following briefs to create suitable designs for customers. I worked with casual dresses, casual tops, casual shorts and trousers, and lingerie and accessories and would love to broaden my knowledge of all products in anyway. I believe I would be able to give a great deal to your company as I am a hard working innovative thinking person and can work very well to deadlines. I am an enthusiastic and confident CAD user with programmes such as Illustrator and Photoshop and feel confident carrying out tasks briefed to me.

I was also picked to show at Graduate Fashion Week 2010 and a lot of my designs from placement have made it into high street shops.
