About me

As an experienced Writer, Editor and Coordinator, I have vast experience working with many different medias. From corporate and educational websites to BAFTA award-winning Playstation games, such as ‘BUZZ!' and ‘Disney Th!nk Fast', iPhone applications, television scripts and prospectuses. This broad experience has given me confidence in writing and adapting content to different styles for very differing audiences.

In my current role at the University of Birmingham I have become very aware of how to keep all online publications on brand, and learnt the importance of accessibility, SEO, SEM, usability and information architecture. Skills I put into practice every day in this role.

Previously working as the head of a team of sub-editors, media editors and writers, I have experience of leadership, project management, creative writing, data handling and working to tight deadlines. With strong communication skills, I am practised in networking and building successful working relationships in both corporate and client facing situations. I am now looking for another role where I can use my keen eye for detail to continue to deliver exceptional results.
