About me
I left University at the end of 2011. Despite a plethora of newly qualified design graduates in Wellington I was able to gain free-lance work while I looked for a full-time position. After doing contract work for the New Zealand Defence Force for a year, I was offered a full time position by them. I enjoyed the challenge of working and gaining experience in that very diverse culture. Working with and advising senior people, many of whom are very senior serving military officers, broadened my communication and inter-personal skills.
After 3 years I decided to move across to London where I succeeded in getting a position with Topdeck as a Mid-weight Graphic Designer. In my current role at Topdeck, I am responsible for brochure design and sales collateral (including posters, EDM's and flyers) as well as working on festivals collateral which includes t-shirts, booklets and banners.
